Jerry Darke died suddenly at the end of last February 2021. We lost his liveliness and enthusiasm, his talent for research, and his leadership. In addition, his death extinguished our website through our inability to access it. We assumed he would always be here to share and manage what he brought to the site with his research on London Britain Township and its environs. The website was his creation, and it ran wide and deep. Much of it is unreachable. Through the talents of several members, some fragments have been retrieved, and with these we begin a reconstituted site. We look forward to carrying on, if not in Jerry’s style, then in our own as we get back in touch with the community on the subject of land and what we gain through its openness. ~the London Britain Land Trust Board
